Error in HTTP in EM web UI

Hi,

Is there any service we need to activate since when we execute em web UI its giving HTTP error-Webpage cannot be displayed

Hi Dipak,

You need to activate and configure below services as directed path by Vishnu.

em_fmp_ui - EM - 9.0

em_wda_ui - EM - 7.0

EM_WDA_UI_EHDTL

EM_WDA_UI_EVDTL

Click above service and go to Error Pages Tab -> Click Configuration -> Protocol X - Do not Switch.

Keep rest of the settings as same.

Hi,

We had the above services activated.Since the issue persisted hence we implemented the note -2002844 based on which the HTTP issue is resolved but the EM web UI is giving a blank screen now.

Whats the suggestion now? Do we deimplement the note and then Go to SE38 and run /SAPTRX/UCCF

Hi,

you defintely do not have to deimplement this note. Did you once executed transaction /SAPTRX/UCCF already? Do you have assigned web interface transactions/user profiles  to your user (TA /SAPTRX/UCUSER)?

Hi.

We have deimplemented the note.

Also we have executed the transaction to update the parameter dictionary and all the web transactions ( PCM10_BUYER, PCM10_SUPPLIER) has been assigned to user. Now when I execute the EM web UI there is no HTTP error but the screen is completely blank for EM web UI

Hi Dipak,

1. Can you clear the browser cache and try to use IE?

2. Go to the table /SAPTRX/UCPRBYUS and check your user id assigned to Web Transaction and User Profile.

Hi,

We have checked after clearing the browser and also entries under field-UP_ID do exist in the database table. Still the system shows a white screen when logging into EM web UI

Hi Dipak,

Try first with user role /SAPTRX/SAP_EM_USER and then with admin role /SAPTRX/SAP_EM_ADMIN.

Hi Dipak,

Goto tcode: SICF and execute for SERVICE.

Then goto this path:

default_host->sap->bc->webdynpro->saptrx

Right click on saptrx and activate the service.
