Hi Guys

After setting up Technical Monitoring in a Customer Landscape, SolMan is displaying grey metrics for host and Central Instance

Solution Manager is SPS13, I have updated Note to latest version, applied latest Diagnostic Agents from SWPM 1 SP8, all configurations are in green status, restarted agents, but still getting the same error

When i Check in metric i get message Configuration XML 7.01.02.20150922194238 likely did not reach the agent . Agent XML:

Performed steps as detailed in note 1854525 - "Configuration XML <nbr> likely did not reach the agent" - Solution Manager 7.10

Any idea whats could be causing this?

Hi Martin,

There can be a number of reasons for grey metrics and the error that you outlined.

Can you please check Notes 2142276 & 2099123 and follow the recommendations.

Afterwards. please reconfigure the monitoring from Step 6 of Tech Mon.

Kind Regards

Michael

Thanks Michael!

After reading note 2142276 - Grey Metrics in System Monitoring after Agent JVM upgrade, saw the same message in satellite system.

After updating JVM to patch 79, hosts metrics came in green status

Now Im facing an odd red message regarding Database Status.

its says

MS SQL Server instance ARBUE-V-SA01D\$DBMS_INSTANCE$ does not exist. Database TED does not exist

Hello I have the same Issue.

The SolMan was updated to SPS14 and now the Issue exist furthermore. I have found a new SAP Note for this Issue.

I hope the Issue was now solved. I wait to see the result.

Hi Daniel,

If you are experiencing grey metrics for your DB, then this is most likely the issue.

However if the System itself is having an issue, there may be other causes.

Please supply a screenshot of the issue, if the above note does not resolve.

Regards

Michael
