Appeon and instance datastore in a custom ddlb

Hi All,

I have a custom ddlb in my framework that uses a datastore declared as an instance variable. The problem is that any attempt to access it (rowcount, reset etc) on a function, causes the execution of this function to stop. When the same script runs in PB, it works fine.

Any clue ?

Hi Julián

Thanks for reporting this problem! We reproduced it on our end and will do further research to figure it out. We will keep you posted about the progress.

As you know, you can work around this issue by using the script like below:

This.Sorted = False

This.VScrollBar = True

ids_test = Create DataStore

ids_test.DataObject = 'd_1'

This issue has nothing to do with the PB version. Chris did not reproduce the as it is related to the code order. You can reproduce it with the following scripts:

long ll_row

string ls_item

ids_test = Create DataStore

ids_test.DataObject = 'd_1'

This.Sorted = False

This.VScrollBar = True

if isvalid(ids_test) then

messagebox('ids_test', 'Valid' )

messagebox('ids_test', 'Invalid' )

end if

for ll_row = 1 to ids_test.rowcount()

ls_item = ids_test.getitemstring(ll_row, 'catid')
