Fiori launchpad URL is not working in IE/chrome

Fiori launchpad URL is getting started using /n/ui2/flp at ABAP side.

Following URL is getting started and I can see the fiori apps.

http://XXXXXXXXXXXXX:8051/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html?sap-client=300

but when I am trying to start this URL in IE, initially I am getting following message.

1) Logon is being prepared

2) Then I am getting

This web page is not available

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OU

Please let me know, what could be wrong.

in your url, can you try with IPaddress instead of domain name.

Hi Robert,

we faced the same problem ,http://domain name:8051/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html?sap-client=300 in this url instead of domain name we replaced with our static ip then it works.

hi Robert,

Do refer to the below Fiori troubleshooting guide published earlier.

And below ODATA services should be active in your Fiori gateway system:-

Activate OData Services for SAP Fiori Launchpad - Configuration of SAP Fiori Infrastructure - SAP Li...

and use /IWFND/error_log for further troubleshooting.

Hi Robert,

Could you please check if you have maintained the URL in table HTTPURLLOC using transaction SE16.

Also try to restart your ICM once from transaction SMICM and check if the URL works.

First thing how is your landscape designed? standard or distributed?

is all sicf services are activated?

are you able to access any other services through IE?

which IE version you are using?

I am using IE 10,yes all the SICF services are active.

We have standard landscape DEV,QA and prod

We are able to access the services in SICF, but the URL is not working directly in IE.

In case of Fiori launchpad is also the same case, can be access from ABAP side.

I think Fiori applications will run on IE11, could you please check on IE11 or latest google crome browser?

Hi Robert,

Few basic checks, ensure you are using the correct port. Please post both the URLs

/n/ui2/flp

and the url which you are trying in Chorme. Share both the screen shots and hide ur domain detials.

Is it only with your system or all the systems. If no proxy, ensure you are corrected to the corporate network.
