Hello all, I understood that with CRM or ERP data source, it uses the BUT000 (CRM) or KNA1 (ERP) tables for the accounts Is it possible to have a standalone hybris marketing system without CRM or ERP  that can maintain contacts as well as accounts? If so, how are the accounts managed in hybris marketing? Thank you

Hi Tommy,

it is possible to have standalone hybris Marketing(yMKT) without CRM or ERP.  Yes, it can maintain contacts as well as accounts.  For more info, please go through the standard inbound interace guide which is available at http://help.sap.com/mkt and direct link is https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100012476442015E/

You can import contacts, accounts, products, interactions by CSV, RFM, webservice or Odata.

Thanks

Thank you.

I have a looked at the guides but there is no mention of creating accounts in hybris marketing.

Using the function module CUAN_CE_IC_POST_FLAT or CUAN_CE_INTERACTIONS_POST_FLAT, how can we differentiate whether we are creating an account or contact in hybris marketing?

Does the accounts and contacts get stored in table CUAND_CE_IC_ROOT ? If so, how are they differentiated?

Hi

Accounts meant "Company" in yMKT.  The inbound interface bound mentions it very high level in Section 4.  They are also stored in CONTACT ROOT table with IC_TYPE = Company (02).

If you have yMKT 1508 system, you can import accounts via CSV simliar to contacts, products..etc.

Thanks
