Hi.

I am working with SAP NW 7.4 SP 9, and when want create a New model the system display the message:

Could not open model 'namemodel' due  to the following error : Model index is bad  or missing.

What is cause of this error?

This is a known issue that happens because ofMicrosoft incidentafter installing the following two MS KBs:

Was this issue finally solved some how?

I am experiencing exactly the same issue than Willian.

I have checked my computer and the security patches above are installed in my computer. If I open the VC with Internet Explorer 8, then I have no issue.

I have opened an OSS message to SAP for a solution: 16116 / 2016
