URL is not in the Whitelist

Hi ,

In Personas 3.0, we have tried checking the HTML Viewer Option its giving error as : The URL is not maintained in white list. Maintaining the URL in white list in Personas 3.0 is different from personas 2.0.

The URL whitelist is maintained from the Personas admin transaction - /PERSONAS/ADMIN.

I have already tried maintaining the white list in Tcode /PERSONAS/ADMIN as (http|https):\/\/*  but still we are not able to access any URL from Personas 3.0 HTML Viewer.

As far as I can tell, that entry should work. You could try creating a whitelist entry with just a "*", which should allow absolutely everything. If that doesn't work then there's definitely something wrong, and I'd maybe create an OSS incident for it.

Please try this setting in the Whitelists

(http|https):.*   - one dot added after the colon.

Hi,

your entry will only allow http:WWWWWWWWWW or https:WWWWWW

To whitelist a hostname properly, you need to maintain e.g.

(http|https)://www\.sap\.com.*

The dot character can be replaced by "Any" character, the * means any number of repetitions.

The dot itself can be defined by adding a backslash (\.)
