Hi gurus,
I am performing a synchronization with some legacy files and when it has finished, I check table GRACUSER and I can see the result of the synchronization. However, when I check table GRACUSERROLE it is empty for the legacy connector. Do you have any idea of what can be happening?
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards,
Hi John,
GRACUSER holds the user master data
GRACUSERROLE holds the user Role assignment.
I assume you ran repository sync jobs (GRAC_REP_OBJ_SYNC) successfully. I think since the roles are not being synced, its not captured in GRACUSERROLE table
For first time role sync and for newly imported roles, please use 'Full sync mode'
May be, also please check if the configured connectors are working properly (for Role synchronization) and the RFC connection has all the appropriate authorizations.
Thanks
Venu G

Hi Venu,
Thanks for your reply. I have check the synchronization job and it has finished withouth errors. I am wondering why I can not see the linkage between roles and users in table GRACUSERROLE. I have check the authorizations and I guess it is not the problem. Would it be possible to have a wrong file or not in the correct format? I am using the format provided by SAP.
Any idea is more than welcome,
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards,
Might help if you can provide what kind of a legacy system you are doing the role sync from,
is it SAP or NON-SAP system?
For Non-SAP systems, please re-check Legacy System import to get non-SAP roles into GRC and also
non-SAP logical connectors configuration
Also, are you able to view your legacy systems roles in GRC after the sync? If you don't see these roles, that obviously concludes as to why GRACUSERROLE table is not getting populated.
Readers can take a shot if you can provide more info.
Thanks
Venu G
Dear John,
did you check the following note:
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2062762
Also please do provide the minimum information that are required here on GRC space:
Regards,
Alessandro
