Recommendation to BW Integration over SAP PI

Hello Colleagues,

I have a question to Business Warehouse (BW) Integration Scenarios over SAP PI.

What is the official recommendation?

I have the information, for BW data load you shouldn't go over SAP PI.

But what is an data load and what is an interface in a relation with SAP BW?

Hi Jochen,

Per my experience the BW data load is a huge process that it can overload the PI. The best way is to load the data from ECC directly. Another thing is to take data from BW over PI to a third application. In this case you develop an ABAP proxy and Z development to offer this data. Check these links:
