ECC 6.0 IDES Installation Error

Hi,

I am Installing ECC 6.0 with MSSQL Server 2005 as backend in windows 2003 server. The JDK Version which i am using is jdk1.4.2_09. Already I have installed solution manager 4.0 in the same server with both ABAP and JAVA Stack. During installation of ECC 6.0 at import ABAP stage (job 1 of 19) i encounter the following error.

ERROR 2007-04-18 19:01:00

CJS-30022 Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103. For details see log file(s) import_monitor.java.log, import_monitor.log.

I have already searched through sdn for this error in which most of them suggest to use jre version jre1.4.2_08. Since already I have installed solmon in same server I afraid this could cause inconsistencies for solmon. I have attached the complete log file of this error.

Please through some light on it.

I have exactly the same problem.

If you change the .tsk-file you probably have to change more than one tsk-file.

Hi Samrat

I´m new with this installation and I had the same problem and I did what you had suggested and it worked. However, I still have some doubts:

What is the file sapsdic.tsk for?

How does that change affect the sapinst to continue the installation?

And would it affect in anyway the operation of the system once it’s installed?

Hi,

I am using the latest Installation master downloaded from marlet place.

Any other suggestions or shall i proceed by changing the entry in *.tsk file

Hi Anand,

If you are using MS SQL Server 2005 kindly use the latest installtion master in service market place. If you are using the installation master which is in DVD provided by SAP it will give these errors during installation phase. As per SAP before you start any installtion of NW 04S better to download latest Installation Master from service market place.

I hope this will solve your problems completely.

Moreover its nothing to do with Solman on your box.

Can u guide me how to get the latest r3load and how to replace it with new one?

I also have one more query. usr directory of both solmon installation and ECC 6.0 Installation is in same drive. Will this cause any problem or can i proceed?

in my view jdk1.4.2_09 has no problem.

try with latest r3load

if problem still persists just change D F4UHLP I err to D F4UHLP I ok
