DMR is not working

Hi Experts,

Issue - Dynamic Modification Rule is not working.

Details Scenario:-

DMR Level - 3 Dynamic Modification at Char. level

Only one operation in inspection plan.

Two characteristics are assigned to operation.

10 FA

20 SRI

We are not using sampling procedure.

Please find below DMR setting.

DMR - FA1 (assigned to char. FA)

DMR - CL1 (assigned to SRI)

Issue: The stage change is not happening for FA1 DMR when I receive a second lot from same vendor.

Quality levels are not updating if I check in QDL3. Lot number and UD code is not updating in QDL3.

Lots w/o usage decision is updating as all the lots are already has status UD.

First char. has to skip as per DMR for second lot once the UD is done for first lot.

I have not rejected any characteristic in RR.

The lots are for same vendor.

Please find the attachment for UD status once UD is recorded.

Sampling procedure is require to use DMR at any level. first you need to create SP.

DMR is possible without sampling procedure as we are directly assigning the DMR in inspection plan for char.

I am not sure if this is true. If you check SAP Help, the sampling procedure is not listed in the "prerequisites" section. But the first sentence in the "process flow" section starts with:

"You define a sampling procedure ...."

Did you try to test your issue together with a sampling procedure? Please do so to check if it works then.

Use the DMR level 2 and check, also Change New Stage value from 2 to 1 in Stage 2 (skip).

In your scenario: after one Insp. lot process (UD) the next lot's up to 29999 or after 9999 days should skip (no RR for those characters) isn't it.

As per my DMR the stage change should happen once the UD recorded for first lot.

For second lot the MIC should skip and this is not happening here.
