Updating the users surname

Hi all,

Is it possible to change the users family (surname) in  SAP expenses?

Would the change need to be done in ECC first? I am not sure if the Idoc would trigger to update CFT.

Hi Kerry,

Yes this is possible.

First of all I must emphasize that it is always the preferred solution to change the value in the original system (ECC in your case). If ECC is not triggering the update in the SAP expenses automatically you can always trigger the replication manually via report OTM_TRIGGER_EMPL_REPL_CE directly.

If you have to hurry up or can't do the change due to any other reason in ECC it is possible to copy the CURRENT replication request change the value in the copied version and press replicate.
This can be done in SAP expenses workcenter Master Data Replication - Import - Employees via the Action Copy Replication Request. To do so you must mark the replication request with the Current Indicator set for the affected employee and choose the action.
