Field CANCELED in OITM

Hi

when you create a new item, the field CANCELED is set to "N".
I have some article for which this field is Y: what / how it affects the value of this field?

The note 1411244 says that it is an old field, replaced by the new flag active / inactive / advanced.

But the field remains unchanged CANCELED if I change the flag active/inactive.

Hi,

As per above SAP note, inactive field is equal to cancelled field. But this field is not removed from OITM table to support below 8.8 versions.
