Charm-not able to change the CO to next status

Hi All,

We have configured standard charm, and i have created a urgent CO,the TR is released in development system and the same is imported in to quality by using manual import since we had issues while importing thru charm.Later we corrected the import errors manually from tasklist.

1. the current status of the CO is unit test complete.

2.we are trying to move the CO in to "to be tested",we are not able to find this status under actions.(note : this is not an auth issue as we are able to set the status with the same user id under the same project for other CO's)

3.The TR shows as imported but the System is still shown as "system not relevant" for logon.

Please advice how to correct this error as it is happening only for few CO's under this project.

Thanks,

Kittu

Hi Kittu

Most often it means that the condition of your action is not "ok". So you should check SPRO "Define Conditions" under IT Service Management and check that the condition for the action that is not displayed is met. I would think it isn't. It can be due to those other issues you're mentioning since that's not normal either. Most actions have "errorfreeflag"=X and once errorfreeflag is not "ok", you won't see the action since there is an issue with the CD.

Hi Tom,

The conditions are verified and are properly set.

The change documents under this project were working fine previously and for few Co's it is working fine even now.Only for few CO's we have this issue.(the values under actions are missing).

Thanks,

Kittu

Hi

Please try to run SOCM report and try to change  your status.

Hi Kittu

What do you mean with verified?

If you're change document (those fews who are errorneous) are not "error free" according to the system you won't see the action(s) in question.

If you briefly remove "errorfreeflag" line from the condition and refresh the screen with the change document, you'll already notice if it's the case or not.

Would be really weird if this would be a random issue, highly doubt it.

Kittu,

I agree with Tom. that there must be some error in this Doc which is setting the errorfreeflag = '' , due to which the next action fails to appear for this specfic docs, checkout for any visible errors while saving the doc & see if you get the action 'Reset'.

Check in SPRO (CRMC_ACTION_CONF) and see the Schedule/start condition of the action definition "To be tested" which will help you to understand which condition is failing.

Thanks
