all the WP UPD is used...can i cancel?

After some problems with backugrond jobs, the user Batch has occuped all the update process in the VPBA table (report SAPLV05I)

So, now all the job was cancelled, can i make them free?

How can i do it, use sm12 or simply cancel them w/o core on SM50?

Hello Sleep,

If you want to kill update processes do it through SM50. Also I think you are talking about SM13- update monitor. Dont delete updates in SM13 directly in this case.

After you have killed the updaate processes do an analysis of update errors in SM13 related to the work processes.

Hello Sleep,

Yes it is sufficient to cancel the process in Sm50 however the important thing is as i mentioned earlier is to check for related update errors in Sm13.

Here you need to see if there is not data insconsistency happening. For this I would suggest taking help of your functional guys.Also one more point when you run the job again successfully with the same old parameters it will carry out the updates successfully. So SM13 wont be dead critical but please do check it for safety purposes.
