Hello community ,
can with a single printer mapping a document directly without going through the " Printer selection screen " ( a new window Pops ) , a device to be made .
It always pops before the actual printing a high window , with a choice for a particular printer . Want to print only to a laser printer locally connected . The other displayed printers are superfluous for me .
That is via keyboard shortcut :
a) SHIFT + CTRL + F11
b ) CTRL + P
e.g. Transaction account statement

Hello Michael,
If you are using Windows OS, then in SPAD, set the LOCL device type to "Access Method G".
This should then always use the pre-defined default Windows printer.

Hello Jude,
The standard is already filled with printers in the SPAD .
e.g .:
LOCL or
Printer1234 and more ,
Lexmark 640 etc.
But I would like , for example, on the standard printer = LOCL directly from the transaction : Accounting-Konten-Sheet.
The displayed print account summary with " CTRL + P " directly to LOCL , without having previously again opens a printer selection window .
This opens before the pressure and I have to confirm again with a command .
That does not bother and do not want to have it.
Is there to change a setting ?
Greeting , Michael
Hello Michael,
For Access Method F or G, the printer takes the Windows OS level printing.
The trouble with Access G is that it brings up the WIndows printer dialog.
To avoid this, maybe note
2028598 - SAP GUI 7.40: Front-end printing with access method 'F' no longer works
might be of some use?
