Launch Web Dynpro inplace mode navigation

Hi,

Probably the question has been covered many time but I realy don't find the solution.

I woul like to launch a webdynpro application inside my Fiori Launchpad. What I succeed on, is to launch WDA into an external windows.

Here is my configuration in LPD_CUST :

Hi

Have you tried giving Application Type as URL with URL as

/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/FPM_DEMO_PLAYER

I guess it should work fine.

In that way, configurations will be similar to other UI5 applications.

But unfortunately the theme is not transmitted to the application

I have added this parameter to the URL : sap-theme=<my_custom_theme>

All works perfectly

However, it is probably required that if user changes to a high contract theme themselves that this is sent to the WDA. Did you get any feedback from SAP on whether in-place WDA navigation would be supported soon?

Hi Joseph,

I don't think that is possible unfortunately. I have just tested out on our simple finance system. There are some WDA delivered with this addon. But they are launched in separate window as well.

But, in Fiori Launchpad point of view, it is not easy to use if the end user have to manage with lot of popup !!

I think I will create a Note for this.
