check what Node js version you have already installed?
go to CMD> type node -v
It works for me with 0.10.40
You can download it from http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.10.40/ .

download and install highlighted .msi part
you should see something like

I did the same which you point out but after installation when I check version in cmd it shows v4.0.0 only, Even I uninstall first and then install new one.
