Access FIORI with Share Point Active Directory

Hi,

We have a requirement, we are planning to implement FIORI apps in our ERP 6.0 EHP5. But users want to use Share Point Active Directory id to login to the FIORI app in Mobile, since AD user id and ERP user id's are different.

1. Is Share Point Active Directory integration with FIORI is possible or not.?

2. If we can integrate, could you please let me know how we can integrate?

Hi Sree,

you may need to look into SSO using SAML authentication. This Is a common request from some clients who want to use SSO and AD from MSFT and integrating that into Fiori / HANA.

Is SAML 2.0 is part of SAP Single Sign on or is it free. And is this authentication supports Share poiunt AD.

SAML 2.0 is not free. it is however a msft technology and yes it supports AD that can be used in SharePoint.

you may need to look into SAML security, how to integrate with SAP HANA. normally this would be a task for your BASIS team

SAML and SAML 2.0 should be the same thing.. except for different version of the product.. so it applies to both (not being free) there should be a msft license involved before you can use it. you may need to check the MSFT sites for more info on SAML (2.0)
