Database: Database error 50000 at OPC

Hi,

I recently installed SAP Solution Manager 7.1 on MS SQL 2012. After the intial system check I wanted to perform a client copy to create Client 100.

Now, when I execute transaction SCCL using the profile SAP_UCSV I receive the following error message 'Database: Database error 50000 at OPC' in the syslog. Unfortunately there is no more explanation to this error.

I would really appreciate your help to resolve this issue.

Regards,

Timo

Hi,

Please check to see if the following note is relevant here:

2014244 - sap_sec_readerrorlog: unquoted parameter

Hi Aidan,

I already checked this OSS note but I think it's not relevant ein this context, as the error message I receive is 'SQL text not found.'. I also checked in the DBACOCKPIT, the SQL Server Setup Check, everthing is green, no error. there.

Btw. during the Client copy also a short dump occured

Error: CX_OS_DB_INSERT, uncaught exception

Program: CB_SAPUSER_BCS

Unfortunately I'm not sure whether These two are related.

Timo

Hi,

'Database: Database error 50000 at OPC' 'SQL text not found'

The reason of it could be a canceled dbcc command or some temporarily

issue with SQL client (network,  install (or update) SQL Server Native

Client were already one exists, ...). Sometimes it also appeared when

a wrong connection definition is used.

For the short dump during client copy, please check note 1444380 and apply corrections.

1444380 UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION when first sending data

'Start the report RSBCSTSU to prevent the termination from occurring in the case of users that have already been created.'

Hi Aidan,

I still need to check the SQL DB, but I already ran report RSBCSTSU on client 001 and 100, it didn't update anything.

Any other idea?

Hi Aidan,

referring to SAP note 142731 the DB error 50000 can be ignored. Do you know if during a Client copy dbcc is running to cause these Errors?

Timo
