Transpose columns and rows

Hello everyone,

Suppose the following data (Activity tracking in a company):

MonthProjectNameDepartmentADepartmentBDepartmentCTotalSpentTime
JanPa20%60%20%10 man.days
JanPb10%50%40%20 man.days
FebPa30%40%30%10 man.days
FebPb60%10%30%50 man.days

How to read the first line :

Within a company, 3 business departments A, B and C, are working together to achieve a bunch of projects.

In january, project Pa has spent 10 man.days including 20% from Department A, 60% from Department B and 20% from Department C.

In Lumira, by adding new calculated dimensions, I get the following :

MonthProjectNamespentTimeAspentTimeBspentTimeCTotalSpentTime
JanPa2 m.d6 m.d2 m.d10 m.d
JanPb2 m.d10 m.d8 m.d20 m.d
FebPa3 m.d4 m.d3 m.d10 m.d
FebPb30 m.d5 m.d15 m.d50 m.d

My need :

I'd like to get a pie chart displaying the number of spent man.days per department.

As far as I understood, I need to have a data source like this one :

DepartementSpentTime
DepartmentA37 m.d
DepartmentB25 m.d
DepartmentC28 m.d

Which is to say that I need to switch columns an rows, like a Transpose in Excel...

Do you think there is a way to make it, right in Lumira, or do I need Excel to prepare my data ?

Many thanks in advance for your precious help.

Hi Laurent - I think you need to prepare it in Excel - please see this thread:

Hi Tammy,

Thanks for your answer.

I wish Lumira includes this feature in the next future...
