Error during import ABAP - SWPM - error code 103

Hi All,

I am installing Netweaver 7.4 to eventually install ERP 6.0 EHP7

OS - Windows Server 2012 R2

DB - SQL Server 2012

Kernel -SAP Kernel 7.42 Windows X86 64 bit

NW - Net weaver 7.42

I am getting following error while installing NW 7.4 through SWPM

Program "Migration monitor" exits with error code 103.

Relevant logs are attached.

Any ideas where the problem is?

Two thinks 1. Just do the full restart and then check the same phase

2. Upgrade the kernel 7.42 latest level.

Are you using an Enterprise version of the SQL  ?

Have you selected row compression and Column compression to Yes  ?

Hi Manu,

I am using SQL Server standard. In SWPM it warned that it cannot be used for production use but for me I am only setting up a demo system.

Is row and column compression setting in SQL Server? I will check that and update the thread.

I also dont have any expertise on SQL .

But seeing your error felt that some of the options you chosen  [ For eg : During DB2 / oracle installations  you could opt for compression at the time of installation ] is valid for only Enterprise version of the SQL Software .

Please read the installation guide before installing  .

1.  DB compression feature is not available in MS Sql 2012 Standard version, you have to install the enterprise version refer the Microsoft link SQL Server Editions | Microsoft
