ECC on HANA and SLT

Hello Experts,

I am illustrating the landscape below :

ECC -> HANA Live > BOBJ explorer.

all the things are running on HANA DB so no Oracle DB is in Picture.

As far as I understand we use SLT for data provisioning to refresh data in hana views, my question here is do I need SLT when ECC is on hana? if no, then how will the ECC tables that are replicated in HANA Studio will be refreshed ?

Hi,

In an integrated Hana scenario you do not need any data provisioning mechanism(eg SLT) as data would be already present in hana database. You just need to do schema mapping so that hana live virtual models can access the physical tables.
