Hi Experts,
I imported succesfully one XSD under the External definations (ED_Orders).
When i tried to give this ED_orders in Message interface ( Outbound ),The " Apply button " is in disabled only. ie iam unable to assign this ED_orders under the Msg interface (Outbound).
So please tell me wat will be the problem .
Regards
Krupa.
hi Krupa,
Check whether ur xsd is valid or not.
U can ckect it in Messages Tab in External Definitions.
Check whether u r getting entry over there...if its not there then there is problem in ur XSD.
Thanks.

Hi Krupa,
After importing a correct XSD, it will display the message tab in the following manner:
Name Namespace
Message1 http://namespace.com
Message2 http://namespace.com
The XSD structure should b like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://namespace.com" xmlns="http://namespace.com" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xsd:element name="Root_Element_Name">
<xsd:complexType>
<xsd:sequence>
<xsd:element maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="0" name="Name" type="xsd:string" />
<xsd:element maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="0" name="No" type="xsd:string" />
</xsd:sequence>
</xsd:complexType>
</xsd:element>
</xsd:schema>
Here Root_Element_Name will be seen at Message1 under Message tab

Hi,
Change the namespace the mesasge1 as per your xsd
and reimport or while importing the xsd , under external definition , you can change it, as per your required namespace.
If you are not able to change it , take the sxd into altova xmlspy and change it and come back and import it again

Thanks chandra,Satish & Maheswari.
i got 50 % solution from Chandra .
I changed the namespace in the XSD file with the one which already defined.
Now iam getting all the segments. But when selecting in my MI, The Apply button is not enabling for the Topnode ED_TEST button..
ED_TEST
Accountdetail
Agency
Allow or Charge
Associatedocuments.
It is enabling for the remaining segments like Accountdetail,Agency.
But here i can get value of only one segment which i will select..
I want the Apply button to be enabled if i select ED_TEST.
Friends,
Please help me in finishing the remaining 50 %
Regards
Krupa.

Hi Krupa
I checked your XSD and there is no problem with it. I was able to create a MI and MM out of it.
I am running PI7.0 SP 10. Not sure may be older XI SP's are not supporting it.

Your imported XSD should have a root element so that it can be used for Message Interface creating.
Check if you have a root element like this <xs:element name="XXX"> not an element inside complex type.
Can you paste the XSD code here.
