BEX Worksbooks and Changes in Authorization Relevant Characteristics

We made company code a required field for selection in our BI queries.  We find that saved workbooks created prior to this change does not pick up on this change.  In other words, A user creates a workbook for all company codes and then saves.  Now the company code is required and restricted to one specific company.  But when the user opens the saved workbook and refresh they still get all company codes.  How do I fix this?

Good morning Jerry,

I dont test it, but maybe you can customize different authorization per Company with transaction: RSECAUT and restrict with authorization object: S_RS_AUTH

If really is not possible do the Company Code Restriction, maybe you need create a Z authorization object and assign the corresponding Authority-Check in the user-exit, etc. of the relationed program.

I dont sure if it is possible, I hope that you can restrict it.
