i have material extended to two storage types and how can i control the picking for set of materials.

I have few materials sitting in two different storage types lets say A and B.

while i am creating delivery, my transfer order is picking from A but i want to be from B for a set of materials.

i have two shipping points lets say SP1 and SP2.

So when i am creating transfer orders for deliveries of SP2 i want the pick to be done from B where as system is defaulting to B.

i have two shipping points lets say SP1 and SP2.  - you cannot influence the storage type search based on the shipping point (not with standard) you need to write your own logic in user exit MWMTO003 or MWMTO007

As you have Specified for few set of materials you want B Storage Type for Picking.

So for those material maintain the Storage Type as B in Material Masters along with the Search Sequence of Stock Removal(A) maintain Storage Type B as 1st priority.

There is customizing for storage type search.

So just create another entry for a storage type indicator where B is first and then A

and assign this indicator in the material master.
