Hi,
I need to use two types of charts in a graphic: area and lines. I've read an article where they use a transparent background to place a chart over the other, but they use Crystal Reports. I tried it with Crystal Reports for Eclipse (CRE) but charts are not transparent. How can I do it? Is it possible with CRE?

Charts have limited API functionality so as Ludek suggested, create the report with multiple charts in CR Designer first.

Your path of least resistance is to download the eval of CR 2013 and create the report there. The CR for Eclipse runtime should be able to then render it correctly in your app. The eval can be downloaded from here:
