How to Change Connection Type ??

Hi,

How to change the existing Connection Type (From 'Secured' to 'Shared' or Vice-verse) in BOBI 4.0 ?

I have some universe which has Personal Connection, i need to change them to Shared or Secured.

Some time while exporting the Universe I get an error " Export Failed. Universe cannot be exported because it is not Secured"

I'm new on this and need some Guidance.

Hi,

If this query specific to Universe designer tool then create a new connection with type shared or secure and select the newly created connection in the Universe Parameters.

The type of connection cannot be changed in the connection itself. However you can create a secured connection, create a shortcut on that connection in your project and then change the connection in the Data Foundation from personal to the shortcut you just created, save the Data Foundation and then publish the business Layer to the Platform.
