Invalid Currency Code in Journal Entry

Hi All,

I have to update a field (Header- User defined) in journal entry using DI API for some transactions. The Data base is upgraded from SAP 8.82 to 9.1.

The Journal entry updates are going well in the SAP 8.82 however after I upgrade t0 SAP 9.1 and I tried to update the old transaction's user defined field created in 8.82 getting an error message

“Invalid currency code".  Looking forward your inputs.

Hi Veerasamy,

I have tried to reproduce the issue that you have mentioned but I am able to update the Journal entries that were created in SAP Business One Version 8.82 and later upgraded to 9.1.

The problem seems to be specific to some business logic. Or some specific scenario for which you are getting the error.

In case of any specific scenario, please mention it.

Hi Ankit,

JE was entered with the local currency is as foreign currency using DIPAI in 8.82. After upgrade to 9.1 , When I tried to update a UDF field in the header of the entry  using DIAPI is giving the error message invalid currency.

However if we update manually in the front-end , the document gets update in 9.1.
