Wrong weight in delivery header in case of batch split items

Hello,

We have batch split in outbound delivery. for eg, for posnr 90001, weight is 10 kg, posnr=90002, weight is 20 kg. therefore at main item level  (posnr =0001), the total weight =30 kg.

But when i see the total weight at header level (LIKP-BTGEW), the total  is 60 kg. This is not correct since system is adding the batch item weight of 10 kg and 20 kg  and the main item weight of 30 kg  which is causing the total weight at header to 60 kg. (10+20+30)

SAP note 1786790 is already installed in our system.

We also do not want to go for report WSLIPS03 to correct weight since this is not practical since for that we need batch job to run and invlude delivery numbers in variant.

Pls suggest how to correct weight at header level. Pls suggest some user exit which can be used at the time of delivery creation to negate the effect of system adding the item level weight (LIPS-BRGEW )of the main batch item (posnr=0001) or to negate the effect of system adding batch items (posnr=90001 etc ) at batch split level (LIPS-BRGEW )

regards

Pamela

Hi Pamela,

Have you managed to resolve your problem?

I am experiencing the same issue, and neither note 1786790 that you mention nor note 41989 which Lakshmipathi mentioned are implementable in our system.

Regards,

Gwyn
