Upgrade from 7.0 to PI7.4

Hi Experts,

We are planning to upgrade your SAP XI 7.0 dual stack system to PI 7.4 Dual stack.

Our Basis team is planning to migrate OS from AIX to Linux. Is there will be any issue at PI side if we migrate to new OS?, What all the precautions/measure we need to take..?, Cant we move our all interfaces at a time to the new OS?.

Please suggest the flow to follow at the time of upgrade at PI side, What all the things we need to take care at PI side.

Really appreciate your inputs and thank a lot for your support and time.

You may want to double check any special / 3rd party adapters you have installed to make sure they are still supported.

Also if any of your communication channels call OS commands before or after processing.

Should not be any issue as the PI new installation is also gona happen.

Check for the Memory Size and all.I guess there should not be any issue as PI interfaces are going to be moved to new PI Box.
