handle pdf with embedded xml attachment in PI 7.0

Hello PI-Gurus,

we have the requirement to extract an embedded XML file of a PDF/A-3 document. The document contains invoice data according to the german "ZUGFeRD" standard. Does anybody knows a library for attaching and extracting PDF-attachments in a PI 7.0 Environment (this means Java 1.4.2)?
