AS2 Seeburger sender adapter

Hello All,

I have a requirement with Seeburger sender AS2 adapter which connects to the third party system.

Currently PI has connected to the third party using  Seeburger AS2 channel with transport protocol HTTP, but now user wants to have HTTPS connection.

When checked in sender AS2 channel we only have HTTP as transport protocol.

Please help me with the configuration required in PI to receive the AS2 messages through HTTPS protocol.

PS: We are using PI 7.11 SP 06

Thank you!

Regards,

Tinu

Hi Sahithi,

Thanks for the reply.

Will this configuration works for the AS2 adapter if the transport protocol is HTTP?

Hi Sahithi,

Thanks for your response.

I had already gone through this link, but the thread is about the HTTPS protocol at the receiver end, whereas my requirement is to configure the AS2 adapter with HTTPS communication at the sender channel.

Hi Tinu,

HTTPS integration will work with HTTP protocol. you need to provide the HTTPS as2 link to the partner (the basic difference is port).

Hi Harish,

Thanks for the reply.

can you please check if the below points are correct?

1) Provide HTTPs link to the partner

2) Default port no for the HTTPS would be "50001"

3) A connection to the AS2 server can be established via SSL by HTTPs://<your-xi-server>:50001/SeeburgerAS2/AS2Server

4) We would need provide a valid service user ID fpr partner to logon while sending the message to PI.

5) SSL certificate received from the partner needs to be uploaded in the Key store.

6) Provide the AS2 certificate to the partner.

Kindly let me know if i have missed any other configuration steps.

Tinu

Hi Tinu,

Point 4 is not required. We don't need to provide service user to the partner.

Hi Harish,

Even we too have got the same requirement i.e. sender wants to have an https connection now.

So could you please let us know the exact settings to be done in PI.

Please list out some important points to have this set up.

Thanks,

HTTPS needs to be enabled in the PI system . And basis can help you with that.

For seamless HTTPS connectivity you need to have your server certificate signed by a third party agency.(Verisign,Trustware etc..)
