Dear Experts,
I have been troubleshooting some weird error messages in our Solution Manager 7.1 SPS12, running on Oracle 11g.
Checking the WP dev. traces, I can see the following error:
A Wed Sep 16 01:30:51 2015
A *** ERROR => RFC ======> Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts
[abrfcio.c 9199]
A {root-id=B3C285BCE1CB1EE59780396FB50D5064}_{conn-id=8010E03E596C1EE48ECBBE585F4F8551}_1
C
So... ??? How to find out which RFC is failing ? It doesn't say nothing at all and also there no corresponding error
messages in SM21... What to do now ?
Thanks!
Hi Symon,
You can use report RSRFCCHK to check which RFC in SM59 would cause this issue.

at timestamp "Wed Sep 16 01:30:51 2015" check for the extry in the STAD report and make sure you are looking into the same work process entry in which the error was logged. After pointing out to the correct entry in STAD double click on the entry and the next corresponding screen will show you the RFC involved.

sorry, I tried this as well, as it sounds interesting. But it requires much more clicking and searching and in the end, there is only the conversation ID:

Initial systemtype: SAP ABAP
Initial servicetype: Plugin
Initial user-ID: SOLMAN_BTC

Connection Counter: 1
and I didn't see the name of the RFC connection 😕 So, it's not helpful.
Hi,
Can you on the RFC trace in ST01 and check.
Thanks
