Define patch level .

What is necessary of patch level.

Importance of patch level.

If not what happened to the sap b1 application

Hi Kumar,

Patch level just like bugs correction on next patch.

Example - You raised some problem to SAP support and they find out this is SAP error then they release new patch after that when you update your SAP patch then your bugs problem is solve.

Correct Bugs in Existing Patch Level and New Features are included in New Patch Level.

Hi,

Patch Level is used to correct the small bugs and to add additional features in existing version.For Example If you are using SAP 8.8 PL06 , you may face problems in layout printings,DTW,etc . Instead of releasing a new Version, SAP will release a new patch level to over come the bugs.
