How do we upgrade our scenarios PI 7.1 to other versions(SAP PI/PO 7.4).

Hi,

This is Soma. I have a doubt. Now we are using SAP PI 7.1. but one of my manager discussed with me upgrade our project SAP PI 7.1 to SAP PI 7.4 PO version. How do we upgrade our scenarios PI 7.1 to another versions.

any body explain clearly.

Are you sure you want to upgrade not migrate?

There is a difference between the two, where the former implies your new PI system overwrites the existing one and the latter implies you will have the new PI system besides the old one in your landscape.

Hello Soma,

It depends on each Scenarios.

Some examples can be like

1. Normal scenarios(receiver/sender agreement, Receiver determination, Interface determination) to be replaced with ICO.

2. All scenarios(including proxy,IDOC) will have channels.For Proxy(Soap with XI Protocol) and for Idoc IDOC_AAE adapter.

3.You can also use Iflows(developed in NWDS).
