Where can we set time-outs for EM queues

Hi experts,

have received the advice to request the basis team to set the timeout for the EM queues to 1800 secs or 3600 secs, so that the queue will be automatically timed out with error "Time limit exceeded" and it is not locking the next queue entries. Ask the basis team automatically reactivate the time out error queues and it will process next time successfully.

my basis team is asking: Where / how can I do these two things? I find no options in SMQR regarding this.

Kind regards,

Gørril and Petra

Hi Petra,

Please refer to OSS  1579728.

It explains the terms of each field in the SMQR.

Thanks,

Hi Petra,

Max. Runtime( seconds ) is the time given to finish processing the queue. This where you specify number of seconds.

FYI: Just added the same note to your other thread.

Thanks,

Vishnu

Hi Petra,

This wiki and OSS note may be useful after implementation of SMQR OSS note suggested by Vishnu.

Inbound Scheduler (SMQR) is in status WAIT - ABAP Connectivity - SCN Wiki

1500048 - SMQ2 inbound Queue remains in READY state
