Can we post 4 Currencies in same Item and same WBS

Hi Experts

We are working on budgeting in Investment Management and Project System . We are required by Client to maintain four currencies against same item and same WBS element. As for example INR 500 Crores+100M US Dollars+50M Pounds+100M Yen for WBS-XXXX.

Can we maintain it in the system?

Hi Rajeev,

You can maintain the budget in 4 different transaction currencies, but at the end for the purpose of availability control it will be all converted to just one currency.  Therefore this can serve you only as some historic information.  For example you do budget supplements in different currencies.

If in reality you need the actual flow to consume budget from 4 different "funds", you will need a funds management functionality.  So for each posting you can specify its own fund to be used.
