Hotline problem!!!!!!! Role is not getting deleted from quality system

Hi all,

When I try to delete a role from development and transport then it has to get affected on quality,the role has been deleted from development but it is still

existing in quality system.it has to be deleted right?

But the role is not getting deleted from quality system

Actually iam facing a hotline problem.

Please let me know the solution ASAP.

What could be the problem.........

Could any one of you help me over this problem.

hello Swapna,

Not really sure how you did it. However to solve it please follow the following step.

1. Recreate the role in development system. I mean just give the role name in PFCG and then use create option. No need to add transsactions,generate profiles.

2. Save this role in a transport request in dev system.

3. Delete the role.

4. Release the task as well the request to quality system.

5. Let the request be imported in quality system and check for the results.

Please follow these steps and let us know.

How are you transporting the deleted role? First include the role in a CTS then delete it and later move the CTS to Quality system

Hi Muhammed,

The thing is like first i created a request number and then deleted the role from development and then released the transport number.So that i has to affect in quality system once the request number or transport number has been imported.

But when i check in quality the role is still existing even after deleting from development and transporting the request number.

Please give me any further option so that i can try it ASAP and solve it.

Hi Ben,

In development system when I have tried to transport it once again, but the role has got deleted first time when i transported actually.

So i couldn't transport it for the next time because when i try to paste the role in pfcg transaction and click on display it is like role does not exists.

This is what happening when I try to transport it once again.

So could you give me any solution for this

Go to import queue of Q system and select the already imported CTS and reimport it again in Q system.

Go to import queue of quality system and select the CTS and in the REQUEST option in menu select import and then re-import CTS option
