Special Serial no. Functions,The serial number is currently in stock

Hello SD team,

I don't know if i am asking a basic SD question or not, but i have a situation where i have a material A with a serial number 123 assigned to it in the delivery, the delivery is created and so is the shipment but when i try to do a shipment completion it wont let me do it and throws an error

"Status of at least one serial number of item 000020 is not allowed"

Now when i go to iq02 and enter A and serial number 123 it throws another error "Serial number 123 does not exist for material A"

Now the serial number status is in EDEL ESTO.

I try to change the serial number material to using Edit->Special Serial no.Functions-> Change matrerial number but it throws a message " The serial number is currently in stock

What can i do to assign the right material to this serial number

Hi,

As i understood, you have delivered a material with 123 serial number to customer . Now using special Function you have change the status of serial number to ESTO .

Is my understanding correct? now what is your query here?
