Service Objects in SD Master Data

Hi SAP experts,

We would like to activate the "Services for Objects" in Sales Master Data (XD02 or VD02 transactions) for attaching documents (i.e : PDF). We done the same for Sales orders by populating in User profile (SU3) the parameter SD_SWU_ACTIVE = X and it works fine as expected.

Now we would like the same functionnalities in SD master data. So do you know the ID parameter name that has to be used ? or do you have others clues / solutions (by avoiding any ABAP proposals as we have no ressources) ?

Hi Jelena,

Thanks for your feedback. The SAP component version is an ECC 6.0 (with for instance a SAP_BASIS, release 700, SP SAPKB70015).

Today "Service for Object" icon doesn't appear neither in VA02 nor in XD02 for instance. The adding of the parameter ID SD_SWU_ACTIVE = X in user profile allows us to get the functionnalities for VA02 only.

So any idea ?

Just a wild guess - maybe some missing authorization? I'd suggest to reach to your Basis admin, this rather looks like something that should be solved locally.

What SAP version are you on? GOS was disabled in the sales orders in 4.7 for some kind of performance reason - see note 598073.

In ECC 6.0 GOS works fine in XD02 with no special parameters needed. Parameter only applies to VA02.
