Hi,
I've got a question regarding ATP in Connection with ind. purchase order (item cat. TAB).
When I create an order, the system confirms the order qty. against the replenishment time from material masterdata, although the ATP rule is configured not to confirm against the repl. time. I expected that SAP checks against the individual stock, but it doesn't. - Is this SAP standard behaviour?
Furthermore I created an inbound delivery with del. date 15.12. Although the ATP rule is marked to check against inb. delivery the confirmation date will not be changed by the inbound delivery date to 15.12..
Is there something to care of?
Regards.
Chris
Hello Chris,
for TAB items there is no atp check carried out.
Please have a look at SAP notes 210455, 210417 and 550388.
Best regards,
Wolfgang

Dear Wolfgang,
thanks, I was not aware of that.
And, to be honest, in my opinion it makes no sense for TAB items. Because in this case we purchase materials to collect them into own stock.
Example:
- PO is created for delivery on 30th September
- for some reason the goods already arrive today
- the system will wait until 30th September with delivery creation --> that is not feasible
But, what should I say, obviously we have to live with that...
