Hi,
I'm configuring the LDAP connection between SAP ECC and the Microsoft windows AD. I've created the RFC , the server and saved the system user.
If i try to connect to the AD directly with the user, I can connect but when i try to do it from SAP i have this error:
I can't find any other error .
Could someone help me ?
Thanks a lot, Sapera
Hello Sapera,
Before logon to LDAP, you need to configure a LDAP server, a user ID that will be used to logon to the AD, and the LDAP connector working. If you have configured properly in SM59, the connection test should work.
You can count on the following documentation places to have this done & working:
2. SCN Wiki (it is from GRC configuration, but they use LDAP too)
My 2 cents,
Cris

Hi,
thanks a lot for your replies. Yes, RFC connection test is working:
this is the screenshot from LDAP:
Application server is the ECC server where we are performing the configuration.
User which we use to connect SAP and LDAP is working. We can connect to the AD using the remote desktop.
On the SMGW , connections are there:
Do you have any other idea ?
Thanks a lot
Hello Sapera,
What is the exactly error you're facing? The screenshot does not show it...
Anyhow, is your LDAP_RFC_* destination working fine in SM59? The connection test works ok?
Can you also click on LDAP Connectors button and provide us an screenshot of there?

For cheking the options:
> ./ldap_rfc -help
Hope this helps you.

Hi
1. Could you check any error message in SM21 log?
2. With reference of SAP Wiki link your LDAP connection settings are fine?
