Webdynpro java iviews do not use standard portal themes

After installing the lastest patches for WDRuntime, AJAX-Runtime and FRAMEWORK on our EP 7.40 SP11, the Webdynpro Java iViews use the tradeshow_plus theme on com.sap.ui.lightspeed instead of the standard themes on com.sap.portal. design.portaldesigndata. What is causing that and how can that be changed ?

1446099 - Application (Web Dynpro or ITS) is not displayed in customer theme

basically your portal theme version should be higher than the wdj's one.

patch your portal component if you want the portal theme to rule.

Basically you're right. However after patching the portal stylesheet the webdynpro java iviews use the portal theme, EXCEPT the uwl iview.

Hi,

You can check the following property in uwl iview: "Hand Over Portal Stylesheets", make sure that the property is checked in order to take the theme from the portal.

when you run the UWL iview and record the httpwatch, what the css path that loaded in content area?

It is a webdynpro java theme:
/com.sap.ui.lightspeed/themes/sap_tradeshow_plus

when you recording the log trace while reproducing the issue(for example by /tshw tool) can you see any exception?
