Hello Samir,

Please, find the procedure described as part of the documentation:

Configuring the UME to Use an LDAP Directory as Data Source - Identity Management - SAP Library

The configuration of the UME for the different data source types is defined by the data source configuration file. The data source configuration file is an XML file that define a configuration for standard scenarios, such as storing standard user data in a corporate LDAP directory (directory service) and application-specific data in the AS Java database.

Data source configuration files for certified LDAP directory vendors are delivered with the AS for Java or are available from SAP Note 983808. To find the configuration file, use the Config Tool.

More information:

Editing UME Configuration Files .

Accessing Data Source Configuration Files Offline - Identity Management - SAP Library

Hello Samir,

In order to implement SSO you will need also the Secure Login Server and the Secure Login Client. This is why you will also need to make sure that you have license for the SAP Single Sign-On product.

Hi Donka,

Hello Samir,

The SAP Single Sign-On product license is not included into the SAP Business Suite license.

You need to get in contact with the SAP account executive responsible for your company and to ask explicitly for the  SAP Single Sign-On product license.
