Error Occur When Running Check Profile Parameter

Dear,

I start configuring my solution manager system, but error happens when running the 2nd step in system preparation.

Error I got is abap/shared_objects_size_MB incorrect, icm/host_name_full incorrect, and SAPLOCALHOSTFULL incorrect.

However, my setting for each parameter in t-code rz10 is:

1. abap/shared_objects_size_MB: 160

2. icm/host_name_full: mgslmgr

3. SAPLOCALHOSTFULL: $(SAPLOCALHOST).$(SAPFQDN)

    => SAPLOCALHOST refers to 'MPSLMGR' and SAPFQDN refers to 'mpinfo.com.tw'

Did I set it up incorrectly?

Hi George,

abap/shared_objects_size_MB should be : 350 Mb

and icm/host_name_full must be local host name with FQDN,   SAPLOCALHOST should be refer to the same local host name.

Please follow 1582842 - Profile parameters for SAP Solution Manager 7.1 for the recommended parameters.

I set it up as you mentioned. My SAPLOCALHOST is my host name, mpslmgr, but it still not works.

Hi George,

Have you restated your SAP system and also check your host file entries to which host name it is referring there.

Hi George,

Can you try it once after restarting your OS as well.

Please provide us the parameter values of icm/host_name_full and SAPLOCALHOSTFULL and your system host name.

It should be like this for your system:

SAPLOCALHOSTFULL= MPSLMGR.mpinfo.com.tw
