SAP guidelines to migrate SRM Approval Workflow to Process Controlled Workflow

Hello everybody! Could anybody help pointing at SAP Guidelines to consider when migrating from SRM Application Controlled Workflow to Process Control Workflow? The client is looking at upgrading from SRM 5.5 to SRM 7 and including migration to PCW at the same time. Are there any guidelines form SAP on effort to migrate as well as risks/benefits/other to consider? I would really appreciate any thoughts on this. Many thanks, EB

Helpful but it doesn't answer my question on effort - ideally I would like to hear feedback from somebody who went through this process: how long it took, what resources are required, what were the main pain points.
