Hello Experts,
As of now i understood that Appendix ledger will only capture the delta postings ( postings specifically made to Appendix ledger) and when you run the report for Appendix ledger then report will consider Leading ( Linked) ledger postings & delta postings made to Appendix ledger , so it is a consolidated report for two ledger but I have a scenario as follows.
In consolidated report I do not want to consider few postings of leading ledger, how can I ignore them in appendix ledger report.
For Example:
Tax posting made for 10K in leading ledger and as per appendix ledger I have to make tax posting only for 5k.
How can I achieve above scenario without posting reversal documents in appendix ledger

Hi Kishor,
For your query, you should post an adjustment document in the Appendix ledger
So if you entry in leading is:-
XX Account- 10K
to Tax payable-10K
Now since you have show tax as 5K
So you need to pass
Tax Payable-5K
to XX account-5K
Since the orginal entry will be in appendix ledger, second entry will balance the final amount.
Hope this helps
read my blog which talks about appendix ledger
Please close the thread if solved.
