Regarding Customer Material Info Record

Hi Friends,

I am facing a strange issue. I have maintained two CMIRs. When I am creating sales order related to first CMIR, the customer material number and plant both are getting picked automatically. While for the 2nd CMIR, only plant is getting picked and customer material number is not getting picked.

Can you please help.

Yes..You are correct. While creating sales order, unknowingly we were inputting ship to party (ship to is not same as sold to) as sold to party. CMIR was maintained for ship to party and not for sold to party. That was issue.

Just because plant is flowing for the second record, it does'nt mean that CMIR has been maintained for that.  Double check with the sale order whether you have maintained CMIR for the same customer.  If you were creating sale order for the same customer, then I think, some user exit is triggering for some business purpose.
