Routing Selection

Dear Expert.

we are using Discrete and Repetitive scenario both in one plant. now when we run standard cost estimate i found that there is a problem.

we are using Costing variant is PPC1 (SAP Standard), in quantity structure control routing tab is there, in routing tab routing selection is there, here 01 is used for Routing & 02 is used for Rate routing. if we select 01 (routing) then we can do desecrate process but can't do Repetitive process.

we have to create different costing variant for both different process?

Hi Debashis

  In standard cost estimation you can use same routing ID 01 for both. Just check the selection ID in OPEB , you will find that selection ID 01 task list are assigned..in your case there must be N & R ..make it sequence 1 & 2 so when you estimate material having Routing it will select N and when you do costing of material with rate routing system will select R

ID 01 is assigned with Task List Type N (Routing)

ID 02 is assigned with Task List Type R (Rate Routing)

Costing Variant is single PPC1 for both process, how can it make sequence for both process please tell.

Assign R in ID 01 in OPEB....then same ID will also work for Rate Routing

1. You create new automatic  routing selection  as below picture using t-code “OPJF”.

 

2. You assign new routing selection to  the quantity structure determination  of the costing

   variant “PPC1” as below picture.
